About Farah
I’m a game designer and illustrator, with experience making a variety of games, independently and collaboratively as a student. I’m well-rounded when it comes to designing games— having worked on platformers, action games, tabletop RPGs, and more— but I especially love designing mechanics, combat, and narratives. I also tend to put a little bit of theatre into everything I make.
Outside of making games, I’m committed to organizing and fostering community around games and game-making in academia. I’m in my third year as the president of Game Club at The New School, where we provide an accessible space for students to play games and playtest their own. I’m also the head of the Parsons branch of MEEMOCade, a student-led initiative aiming to build arcade cabinets with student games for a variety of universities across New York City.
